A shot of our lovely magnolia tree. It's not at its best because of the strange weather we had this winter, but the blooms that it does have sure look nice and are a definite sign that spring has arrived.

I've been out and about in the yard the last couple of weeks just looking for signs of growth and new life. I've been finally getting those signs these last two weeks. While I'm not the hugest fan of hot weather, I do have to say that I am looking forward to it this year. Especially because it means that I'll be on summer vacation. *smile*


I've also included this close up shot to show you what the flowers look like. It just makes me so happy that it's finally spring!
