Friday- We went to Cleveland for the 4th and the weekend. We spent most of the 4th at my dad's house visiting with my kid brother and sister. They were really happy to see us. They're growing up so fast! My 13 year old sister has HUGE boobs! LOL! I actually managed to get my whole family to sit together for fireworks that night. That might not sound like a big deal, but my mom and my step mom like NEVER talk. It has nothing to do with animosity. It's that my step mom is shy around my mom. It's weird. Even my brother and his girlfriend came. We were one big, happy, dysfunctional family. I told them they'd all have to start getting used to each other since they were going to be sharing a grandchild soon. :)
Saturday- We went to my aunt's house at 1:3o and didn't leave until almost 11! We helped set up for my cousin's graduation party. It always surprises me how little my family entertains. My aunt and mother deferred to my decisions on how to set up the food. It made me realize that we do entertain quite a bit...or at least we used to! :) It was fun. They had a ton of people, mostly family, and I got to spend time with relatives I haven't seen since the last funeral. It's nice to see people at a happy occasion instead of a sad one. There was a band and lots of food and good conversation. The cops even showed up at one point! The band had to stop playing because the neighbors complained too much. It was pretty funny seeing my 55 year old uncle have to show his driver's license to the 25 year old officer and get a written warning for partying too hard. :) We stayed late and helped clean up, but even still, we heard that some people didn't leave until at 2:30 am. Crazy!
Sunday- We stopped at my little sister's 13 birthday party for about an hour and then started the drive home. We stopped at the outlet malls and I bought several pairs of pregnancy panties. Yeah, my normal ones are starting to leave a line in my flesh! LOL! So we'll see how they fit. They lady at the counter promised me they wouldn't be a tent on me. We stopped and pick up our dogs (who were very happy to see us) and then headed back to the ponderosa. I paid some bills and wrote this blog entry. Oh, and keep my mom is your thoughts, because her eye infection started coming back today. The one that made her eyes swell shut and leak green goo the last time. She started taking the drops again today, so hopefully the doctor can fix it tomorrow before it gets bad again....
Goals for the week: Try to rest during the day, clean out the baby room so Kendall can prep it for painting, read at least one trashy romance novel, and blog about Vegas.

Sounds like a great weekend. Relax tons this week
Sounds great! A sister at 13 sounds so young! That's fabulous you got everyone together. Amazing what a granchild and/or a pregnant person can accomplish.
Speaking of accomplishing, I wish I had your "to do" list for the week!!!! I soooo want to be lazy
