Lisa's recipe for amazing Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies:
1. Buy a tube of Pillsbury Peanut Butter Cookie Dough
2. Lie and tell everyone you made them from scratch
HA!
Okay, seriously, this is one of my best stories as of late. So Kendall and I fully intended on making the cookies from scratch Saturday afternoon. Our cleaning took so long though that we ran out of time and had to go to the store to buy the "fake" dough. We promised each other we wouldn't tell anyone we didn't make them ourselves and even hid the wrappers after we finished making them.
To our credit, we did have to scoop out the dough, roll it into balls and rub them in sugar and then shove the kisses in right after they came out of the oven......it was really hard work...haha.
So the funniest part is, everyone couldn't stop eatting them. The entire platter was gone after our exchange. One girl even went so far as to ask for my recipe. True to our promise, we didn't tell a soul, and I even gave the girl my Crisco recipe. Honestly, they do taste the same if you do it the way my mom does with lots of extra peanut butter.
I finally couldn't help myself, and the next day I called Jessica S and told her the story. She wasn't at the party and therefore didn't know. She couldn't stop laughing. I made her promise not to tell anyone. I'm not even telling Jessica G-J! She would totally narc on me!
HA!

HAHA!!! That's hysterical! Don't worry, your secret is safe with me!
Dude, you just posted your "secret" on the internet!! However, I laughed. I am so amused/impressed you still gave the other recipe to pass off as the imposters.
That's too funny to keep to yourself. Thanks for sharing your secret!
that's a riot!!! i love how honest you are!
This won't let me post as myself!!!
I love your story - it's almost as good as when my Italian neighbors kept asking for the recipe for crescent rolls...
Viki
I remember that story Viki!
I loved it! And I should also note that none of the people that attended the party know about my blog or read it...at least not to my knowledge. I think Jessica G-J reads it every once in a while...
I almost forgot about Viki's Italian neighbors and the crescent rolls! Hahahahahaha!
