Here it is, the final loot list from school:
1. 3 candles: Holiday scent, Cookie, and Cinnamon
2. An ornament for our tree
3. An assortment of food, some of which I will not eat because it looks scarey and is from an unreliable source...brownie, Ghiardelli dipped pretzle rods, platter of cookies, Chex Mix, candy canes, assorted candies
4. Santa Claus Candy Cane holder
5. Two $5 gift cards to Subway
6. $10 gift certificate to Dairy Queen
7. A cubic zirconium pendant and necklace (that I have been told by Jon I am obligated to wear at least once...ugh...)
8. A poem about how wonderful I am that I will have to post after break because I stapled it to my bulletin board at school. It was very flattering and well written if I do say so myself. And of course, all true.
So we had a pizza party today for winning the canned food drive and we had lots of tasty holiday goodies with it. It was a pretty good day. We watched holiday movies, ate food, had a choir concert from the high school, and finished it all off with an hour of bingo over in the gym. I gotta say, there are some definite perks to teaching junior high.
Now I'm sitting at home, fully enjoying my first full hour of Christmas Break, while the dogs proceed to pull every single one of their toys out of the dog bed in our living room. Maggie is currently playing with a plastic hamburger that we got at the dollar store. Go figure the cheap ones are her favorite! I think maybe it's time for a little Guitar Hero to officially celebrate my next two weeks off! Not to gloat too much or anything......

I am so jealous!!! I have a full 5 day week ahead of me still until I'm on break. The BOE hates us, I swear!
