Postings

I had a post all written up on Wednesday and never got around to posting it. I won't bother to now, as I'm not really cranky anymore, like I was when I wrote it. I fully intended to write one yesterday. I thought about it on my way to work. Then I found out yesterday that a friend at work has breast cancer. We were all shocked. I imagine this woman as my ideal mother-in-law. I've even told her that before. She's wonderful. It just made me think about my mom all over again when Anne told us. I cried when she told me and then felt pretty bad all afternoon. So I never got to posting.

Today was craziness at work. I felt busy all day. At the end of the day my homeroom found out that it won another contest! We had the best OSU vs. Michigan door and my kids won goody bags. They were really excited. The other kids were like, "Mrs. Erdahl's room is going to win all year!" We were very excited. Here's a picture of our door. I should mention that the Brutus was hand drawn by a student. She's so talented!

I don't have anything excitimg to write about. I could gripe about the fact that I'm spending my Thanksgiving with just my in-laws. But I've already over-griped that one at home. We have to clean our house (BIG TIME) this weekend and shop for Thanksgiving. Nothing too exciting. We'll go to a friend's house for the game.

Nice door! Glad to know you are still alive and you came out of your sickness ok. :-)

Sorry to hear about Turkey day and the In-laws. :-( I'll be thinking of you!

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend at work. I know from experience how hard that is. :(

Also, that sucks about Thanksgiving. Pull a Michael Scott and say "That's what she said" after everything they say. At least the day will go faster for you!

And that kid can draw!

I'm sorry to hear about your ideal mother-in-law. I'm also sorry to hear about your Thanksgiving - our's will be interesting as we're spending it with my brother's in laws. At least there's some potential for me to get some entertaining stories from the experience...
