Bless The Broken Road

I set out on a narrow way many years ago
Hoping I would find true love along the broken road
But I got lost a time or two
Wiped my brow and kept pushing through
I couldn't see how every sign pointed straight to you

Every long lost dream led me to where you are
Others who broke my heart they were like northern stars
Pointing me on my way into your loving arms
This much I know is true
That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you

I think about the years I spent just passing through
I'd like to have the time I lost and give it back to you
But you just smile and take my hand
You've been there you understand
It's all part of a grander plan that is coming true
Every long lost dream led me to where you are
Others who broke my heart they were like northern stars
Pointing me on my way into your loving arms
This much I know is true
That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you

Now I’m just rollin’ home into my lover's arms
This much I know is true
That God blessed the broken road that led me straight to you

It's a really good thing Kendall and I love each other a lot. We're not fighting anymore and I think Melissa was right when she said a lot of it is hormones and emotions. I'm just overwhelmed this week. This song really is true though. I'm so lucky to have a man like Kendall, even when he is driving me nuts and I feel like he's not giving me everything I need. He does his best to make things better and try harder, and that's all I can ask for. I've appreciated all of the words of encouragement over the past few days. Each day I get more anxious and a little bit more sad, but I'm going to go through with it because the most important thing is that I want to start a family with the incredibly hard working man I call my husband. The idea of seeing his eyes in a child that we created together makes everything else seem trivial. *Tear*

I'm glad you're feeling better, and I love this song, too. Trey's never heard it...I love my husband, too, but him on pop music...
