Did someone say something about napping and resting?? I am definitely NOT napping and resting. (Sorry Laura)
I get like 30-60 minutes of sleep in a row at night. Then I wake up, roll over (or should I say FLOP over), and try to pass out again, or I struggle for several minutes to sit up to go to the bathroom. I am exhausted. If I could get 2 hours of solid sleep between feedings with a baby, that would seem like heaven right now. I guess worst case scenario I have a baby that never sleeps and it will just feel like pregnancy never ended.
Went to the Dr today. NOT dilated at all. Already having uncomfortable cramping though. Oh, and I had to CRY to get him to schedule an ultrasound at 38 weeks to see how giant my baby is. He was like, "What's the rush? We know he's going to be big?" And I was like, "Because I need to mentally prepare for a giant baby and a c-section." And proceeded to cry.
*sigh* 20 days to go......

You're doing awesome Lisa. I never got this far in either of my pregnancies. Just remember that even IF Max is measuring big right now he's probably still smaller than a FULL term baby. Hang in there- your turkey'll let you know when he's done cooking.
Geee, sorry! Ok, I'll root for Max to hurry up too :)
i think you're cute. Oh the end of pregnancy..... sorry to hear you have to "flop" over. though the thought did make me smile.
I'm sorry Lisa.
The good news is I've been told that one kinda "forgets" the details of misery of the pregnancy and such. Or else people would never have more than one child....
My cousin was hilarious about it. She was sooo vocal about it for months, and all of a sudden it flipped to, "oh, it wasn't so bad".
When my mom was pregnant with us she says that when she wanted to roll over in bed, she had to get out of bed, and walk around to the other side, and lay down on that side. My dad apparently slept in another room so my mom could take over their king sized bed.
I really am hoping for a fast and pain-free delivery for Max. And many good drugs. I support drugs during delivery.
Good luck!!
Hang in there chica, it's almost over. You CAN do this!!!
Hang in there, Lisa! It will all be over before you know it!! And I'll be praying that it could be over pretty soon :)
Whoever says they loved being pregnant was obviously lying, huh! The last few weeks are the worst! If it helps, I had both mine at 38 weeks and 2 days. Once you see Max's beautiful face looking back at you though-it makes it all worth it! Hang in there!
Last night I had a dream you had Max. You delivered around midnight, and brought him to school the next day. I'm not sure which school, because I'd never seen it, but we were both there as teachers. You were sitting in front of the office and then you dropped Max! But it was onto a bunch of pillows so all he did was plop softly down. Oh, and Don Day was sitting next to you, and some other kid from Forge, but I don't recall who now. In the dream you were soooo happy and Max was super cute.
Hey that means only 20 days until my birthday. Once again I am going to hope you have Max a little early so his birthday isn't so close to Christmas. It is hard having a birthday so close--don't always get to take cupcakes to school because you aren't always in school.
Hope the time flies!!
Jen - not once did I get to take cupcakes to school. There was no "not always" about it.
