So I got this flier in the mail today from Anthem. I guess they've started this new thing with Zagat, the people who rate restaurants and stuff. They're now going to provide ratings for your doctors. In the mood of AN Italian? What about some Mexican? So if you're looking for a 5 star doctor with a 3 star price......hmmm...not quite so sure how this is all going to work. Will they list a "menu" of services that they provide? Will they include a virtual tour to "test drive" the doctor? What about nightlife, hotels, and attractions in the same area as your doctor?
Sorry, I just found this highly amusing. I, of course, went to check out my husband's rating. Unfortunately, since they just started it, he had no scores posted. They are rating doctors on 4 things: trust, availability, communication, and environment. I can find no way to mock these categories. It saddens me. They actually seem pretty legit.
I can however, spice the story up even further by telling you that I created a fake name and rated my own husband with top scores in each category. *grin* I wasn't really lying when I checked the box that said, "I ceritfy that I have recieved services from this provider." I HAVE received services.....not always appropriate ones. But he still serviced me. *wink wink* I'll keep you all posted on his Zagat score.
And on a totally different note, for anyone who knows them....Ben and Jen Agati were in the UD Quarterly today. They had a baby! Dan Agati.....I wonder if he'll be known by his full name too!

he has to be known as dan agati - that's why it's such a simple name!
You crack me up! He serviced you....hahahaha.
This post had me rolling. Thanks for sharing. Aetna has had the rating service for a while. I'll have to log on and see if your hubby is listed. :-) I'd rate him, but I haven't been serviced... :-P LOL
That's great. I bet a lot of people go on and initially rate themselves/their friends/their spouse, etc.
Kinda like that Scrubs episode...
I, too, loved this post. Does letting my sister follow him around when Karen got married count as a service? If so, I will go rate him as well. :-)
I would totally have rated my man!!
I want to see the site with your comments! LOL. Too funny. You always crack me up!
