So today is my last day with my favorite group of kids EVER. I'm pretty bummed. I cried three times yesterday when I said my official goodbyes. Some kids won't be there today. Then I cried twice at graduation last night. I'm sure I'll probably cry again today.
On the other hand, I'm stoked that it's the start of three months off. No more getting up at 6 to get ready for work. Laying around and reading books and watching Little House on the Prarie.
Plus, we're getting the keys to our new house today! We'll be spending the next week working on moving in. We're going to move small things this weekend and making sure nothing needs painting. Then the packers come Tuesday and the movers Wednesday. By this time next week, we'll officially be living in our new house and be only 2 hours from handing over the keys to our old ones.
Which brings me back to being sad again! I'm sad we're selling. It didn't really hit me until a couple days ago when we gave Mike our dining room table. It looked so empty in there! This is so different than a rental. *sigh*
Oh well, off to work I go!
