I'm too tired to write the whole freaking thing out again, so here's the condensed version. Blogger B*stards.....
Friday
Went to a kick ass concert with Suzanne. Our friend Keith was the drummer in the band. We also got to see several friends and acquaintances from high school. It was hot, but fun. Here's a picture of me and Dena. You can see how flushed we look, and that's not even from drinking!

Saturday
Spent the whole day with my mom. We went shopping and had dinner with my grandparents. They were thrilled to see me. It's definitely an ego boost. I really only see them for holidays and funerals so that was a treat. My grandpa even told a story that would be way too inappropriate to publish here for fear of small children reading it. Plus you need to see the hand motions to get the full effect. Then we went over to my aunt and uncles and once again all shared stories that are too inappropriate to publish here. I guess that's your motivation to come visit me. *grin*
Sunday
Took Billy shopping and helped set up for his birthday party. It was hot and boring, but I survived. Took the kids with me to Target later in the afternoon and got stuck in a huge thunderstorm. While we were in the building and Billy went to get a shopping cart, the lights went out! We could barely see and we all freaked out a little bit. When the lights came back on we did what every other person in the store did, we kept shopping! The funniest part is that we headed all the way to the back to play in the electronic section and the lights went out again! The back of the store was PITCH BLACK. We all enjoyed the second scare and agreed it was time to leave. Once again showing the power of the "all-mighty dollar", the generator not only ran back up lights for the store, but all the registers and credit card machine. My dad took me out that night to buy my sewing machine. It's a Singer that makes over 70 different types of stiches. And it's pretty much idiot proof, which is just what I need. Now pick your jaw up off the floor, don't make any comments, and I might make you something pretty.
Monday
Seriously, today was a bad day. On my way from my dad's to my mom's I was driving past a road crew who were mowing with giant weed whackers. One stupid kid was facing the street while he did it, and of course, as I drove past him he shot a HUGE rock at my car window and shattered the window into a million little pieces. I pulled over and ran back and yelled at him about being so stupid as to face the street and demanded to see his supervisor so I could find out who was paying for my window. Long story short, the stupid city got out of paying for the window because of some State Code and I had to use my own insurance. At least Kendall and I are spoiled and we pay for full comprehensive coverage, so no deductible. So no cost out of pocket. And our rates won't go up because of the nature of the situation. The rest of the drive was fine except for the fact that I was greasy and nasty and missed having breakfast with my mom because of it. And the two hours in phone calls I had to make to get everything taken care of. But the cop did flirt with me....*grin*
I know you're saying to yourself, "This was the condensed version?!?!!" I guess you should just be greatful for those Blogger B*stards.

How funny that the registers and credit card machines we powered by the back-up generator at Target.
Can you sue the kid who threw the rock at your car? I'd hope so - at least for those of us who do have deductables...
