Does Anyone Know Someone From Vermont?

Do they own a Subaru? As we were driving down our street this evening we saw a Subaru Outback with Vermont plates, which made us laugh out loud. It reminded us of our trip up to Burlington several years ago. While there we felt extremely out of place in our Ford Explorer. We counted Subarus one time and had a count of 30 in a matter of a minute. Plus, everyone up there own a yellow snow jacket. It was those to things that really cinched the deal for us on not moving to Vermont.

Other random things to note....

Kendall and I succeeded in seeing 5 movies at the show, 4 movies at home, a trip to the Newport Aquarium, Dave and Busters, the Airforce Museum, dinner at Benihanna's, a round of minature golf, family portraits, dinner with friends, a canoe trip, and our insemination in the matter of 9 days. It was quite the whirlwind. To fit the last two movies in we did a double feature at the dollar movies and regular show after we had gone canoeing that morning. It was a great vacation...and we didn't even have to leave town to do most of it!

My niece is almost a month old. I will have to get a new picture of her to post on here. She looks a lot like her daddy. She even makes the same faces he does when he's sleeping or when he's irritated. It's really funny. It's mostly because of her lips, which are just like Dathan's. It's cute.

I'm ready for fall. I can't take this heat anymore and all of my cute sweaters are calling my name. It's time for a wardrobe rotation!

Wow, you've been busy! Sounds like you guys had a great time though. I'm jealous, especially since I've now been unemployed for two weeks and have yet to do ANYTHING fun! It's not fair!

I borrowed a bunch of movies from my sister last weekend, thinking that I'd have time to watch a few this week...Trey and I have watched one. Oh, well. I wish we had dollar movie theatres by us, though!

I'm happy with the weather as is - it's been really nice and mild in Chicago, and since it's always cooler by the lake and the front of my office is warmer, I'm the happiest temperature wise I've been in years.
